Eimearjean McCormack is an Irish printmaker. She holds an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, London (2007) and a BA in Fine Art Printmaking from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (2004). She has held two solo shows; The Launderette Gallery, Cork (2005) and Ard Bia Cafe Restaurant & Gallery as part of The Galway Arts Festival (2004). Group shows to date include: 'Person, Place or Thing', Riverside Studios; Affordable Art Fair, New York (2007); '...scape', Hammersmith & Fulham Irish Arts Centre, Dublin & London (2007); House Gallery, Camberwell, London (2007); Microsoft Ireland Art Collection 19th Exhibition (2006); Talbot Gallery & Studios (2005); FORM Gallery, Cork (2005); Cork Printmakers Christmas Showcase (2005); Ard Bia Gallery (2005); '6 x 6', 411 Gallery, Hangzhou, China (2005); 'EXIT', L'ecole superieure d'art', Lorient, France; LORG Printmakers Exhibition, Galway (2005); 'Impressions 2004', Galway Arts Centre (2004); RDS Art Student Scheme & Travelling Exhibition (2004) and Galway City Hall (2004). Her work is in the collections of the Office of Public Works, Scott Tallon Walker and de Blacham and Meagher. She has been awarded the Bartolemeu dos Santos Award, MA Printmaking (2007); De Blaham & Meagher Student of the year award, BA Printmaking (2004) and Cregal Art NDAD Student of the Year (2003).
